Coach Landrus says:
"We are very excited to finalize our 2016 class with the addition of Brittany Jones. Throughout the recruiting process, it was evident that Illinois is where Brittany wanted to call home for her collegiate career. She brings a high level of gymnastics and commitment that are important parts of our program. Additionally, she understands the true meaning of student-athlete as she place a high priority on her academics and of course, expects a lot out of herself gymnastically. We can't wait for her to join the Orange and Blue in the very near future."
Why Jones chose Illinois:
"The atmosphere and vibes from the campus were extremely welcoming and happy. When I toured the campus, it was absolutely beautiful and was completely different from Arizona, which is exactly what I wanted. Illinois has a very good record in veterinary medicine as well, which is what I wish to major in. The team was very welcoming and extremely friendly and I feel as if I fit in very well at Illinois."
What Jones enjoyed most on her visit to Illinois:
"My favorite part of my visit was walking down Green Street and seeing all the different types of restaurants as well as shops along campus."
