April Fools Day is no laughing matter at the University of Illinois. To celebrate Lovie Smith's first practice in Champaign on April 1, the Fighting Illini are excited to announce an incredibly serious offer.

From Friday, April 1 at 12:01am until Sunday, April 3, at 11:59pm, fans who wish to be part of Lovie Smith's first game as head coach of the Fighting Illini can order $10 tickets (minimum purchase of four tickets required) for the home opener against Murray State on Saturday, Sept. 3. Kickoff time and seat locations for the tickets purchased will be determined at a later date.

Fans who are interested in joining Coach Smith and the entire football team in Memorial Stadium for all home games this fall should consider joining the team with season tickets and as an I FUND member. Season tickets are on sale now starting at only $99 and include all seven home games.
