True-frosh hit 87 threes to break Cory Bradford's record

True-freshman Jalen Coleman-Lands knocked down 87 three-pointers during his first season in Orange and Blue. He broke Cory Bradford's Illinois freshman record of 85 made threes on Thursday with a trey at the 12:37 mark of the Illini's upset win over No. 20 Iowa in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.

Coleman-Lands 87 triples on the year ranks fourth on the all-time Illini single-season list. He finished his rookie season averaging 10.3 points per game and shooting .422 from behind the arc (87-206).
