#Illini Make Progress as Camp Rantoul winds down
Post-Practice Interview: WR Mike Dudek
RANTOUL, Ill. - The Fighting Illini were back in full pads for practice No. 16 Wednesday morning at Camp Rantoul. After a morning of rain, the Illini were fired up for the two-hour workout, especially during the team portion of practice at the end.
The Orange and Blue have only two practices left at Camp Rantoul before returning to campus for classes and game preparation. The Illini will practice at 10:45 a.m. in Rantoul on both Thurday and Friday and, as alway, both will be open to the public and free to attend.

Movie Night
With practice done by 1 p.m., the Fighting Illini were able to get away from football and take in a movie on Wednesday afternoon. The squad watched "Straight Outta Compton" in Champaign and, if Twitter is any indication, it was a hit with the team.

Two More #Illini De-Striped
Two more Fighting Illini players were de-striped after Wednesday's practice, LEO Sean Adesanya and offensive lineman Jack Broeker both were bestowed the honor, bringing the total so far to 20. What does being "de-striped" mean? As has become tradition under Coach Beckman, Illini newcomers begin training camp with a single white stripe on their practice helmets. If their teammates and the coaching staff deem them worthy, newcomers can earn their way to being "de-striped" through hard work during training camp. The action signifies that the player is no longer being considered a newcomer to the team. "De-stripers" are announced at the end of practice.
