The University of Illinois Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is hosting its second annual Boy Scout Camp Out following the Illinois vs. Western Illinois football game on Saturday, September 12 at Memorial Stadium.

More than 300 Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts attended last season.

"We expect the number of scouts attendees to increase this year," said Associate Director of Athletics Jason Heggemeyer. "We're looking forward making this experience special for the scouts every year."

"Troop 50 from Chicago and had an amazing time and is excited to come back again this year," said Suzan Henley, Troop 50 pack leader. "We are thrilled that the University of Illinois Athletics Department is making this an annual event and very excited to attend again this year."

The sleepover includes an Illinois football ticket, memorable scout patch, and movie on the video board. Tents are permitted but no STAKES and folding chairs are allowed on the field.
