Champaign, Ill. - Sophomore Chatrice White and team USA took home the gold medal today at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship as the United States topped Russia 78-70. White tallied 10 points, five rebounds and dished an assist to help bring home the gold for the USA. The medal marks the sixth consecutive win for the United States at the World Championships.
Incoming freshman, Jaelyne Kirkpatrick, and team Canada also had a match on Sunday, falling to China, 67-47. Kirkpatrick grabbed one rebound in the game.
