The court at the newly-renovated State Farm Center was officially dedicated Wednesday when @IlliniMBB hosted Notre Dame
The playing floor at State Farm Center was officially dedicated as Lou Henson Court when Illinois hosted Notre Dame on Dec. 2, 2015, permanently honoring Fighting Illini Basketball's all-time winningest coach.
Over 100 former Illinois players and 30 family members were on hand for the ceremony, which took place at halftime in first game of the newly-renovated arena. Henson was inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame on Nov. 20 in Kansas City.
