- With today's victory, Illinois extended its season-best winning streak to four games.
- Illinois opened the game with a 14-0 run on 6-of-7 shooting.
- Illinois led never trailed in the game, securing it's first wire-to-wire victory on the season.
- UI's 91 points are the most it's scored in a game this season and most since totaling 93 against Kennesaw State on Dec. 27, 2014.
- Illinois made nine three-point baskets in the first half on 9-of-15 (60.0%) shooting, it's highest total in a half this season. The Illini finished 14-of-30 from three-point range, a season-high and one off the State Farm Center record of 15.
- UI's 55 first-half points are the most they've produced in a half this season and highest first-half total since 59 vs. Copin State on Nov. 16, 2014. The 19-point halftime margin (55-36), was Illinois' largest halftime lead of the season.
- Illinois assisted on 76.7% of its baskets, totaling a season-best 23 assists on 30 baskets.
- Malcolm Hill netted a new career high with 34 points, (previously 28 set 1/7/15) and turned in his third-straight 20-point game. Hill's 34 points are the most since Brandon Paul's 35 at Gonzaga on 12/8/12. Hill hit 10-of-16 shots, 4-of-7 from three-point range and 10-of-11 from the free throw line.
- Hill also recorded his third double-double of the season (and of his career) with 11 rebounds, while also adding adding five assists, three blocks and two steals.
- Kendrick Nunn scored in double figures in his seventh consecutive game to start the season, finishing with 10 points while also adding six rebounds and four assists.
- Jalen Coleman-Lands totaled 17 points, tying his career high. For the second straight game Coleman-Lands netted at least four treys, finishing 4-of-9 from behind the arc today. Coleman-Lands has drained three or more treys six times this season.
- Michael Finke grabbed seven rebounds, tying his career-high, while also adding 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
- Four Illini scored in double figures today: Hill (34), Coleman-Lands (17), Finke (13) and Nunn (10).
- Illinois has now started a different lineup in 10 of its first 12 games. Today's lineup was Jaylon Tate, Jalen Coleman-Lands, Kendrick Nunn, Malcolm Hill and Michael Finke.
- Illinois improved to 3-1 at home this season and has now won 39 of its last 40 non-conference games at State Farm Center.
