CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women's golf coaches Renee Slone and Jenny Coluccio are inviting all girls ages 11-17 with any level of golf experience to sign up for the Fighting Illini Girls Short Game Academies. In their third season of working together, coaches Slone and Coluccio will be instructing two sessions, November 21 and December 20, at the Demirjian Indoor Golf Facility.

The academies will focus on the game from 40 yards and in while covering pitching, chipping and putting along with rules and etiquette of the game. State-of-the-art video analysis equipment will be utilized for instruction as well as the 6,300 square foot short game area within the Demirjian Indoor Golf Facility.

In order to provide one-on-one instruction to all participants, each session is limited to a maximum of 18 girls.
