1. Illinois improved to 4-0 on the season with the 89-68 victory. It marks the fourth-straight season the Illini have started the season with at least four consecutive wins, a streak that began in 2011-12.

2. Illinois has scored at least 80-plus points in all four games this season. After four games, the Illini are averaging 97.5 points per game, second-best in the nation, while holding opponents to 65.3 points per game.

3. After a basket by Brown to start the second half, the Illini went on a 15-0 run in the next 3:36 seconds (19:23-15:47) to take control of the game, turning a 37-31 deficit into a 46-37 lead that the Illini would not relinquish.

4. After a first-half shooting effort of 11-of-36 (30.6 percent), the Illini were on fire in the second half, shooting 19-of-26 (73.1 percent). For the game, Illinois was 30-of-62 (48.4 percent).

5. Illinois improved its current winning streak in month of November to 30 games, marking the longest active streak in the country in the opening month of the season. The Illini also are 19-0 in the month of November under head coach John Groce.

6. Illinois won its 33rd straight non-conference game at State Farm Center, and extended its home-court winning streak in regular-season non-conference games to 44 in a row. The 33-game winning streak at Sate Farm Center against non-conference opponents ranks fifth nationally.

7. Five Illini scored in double figures, marking the third game in a row with at least five Illini in double figures.

8. Illinois totaled 38 points in the paint, tying their season high. The Illini made 11 straight shots in the paint to end the game and finished 12-of-13 in the paint in the second half.

9. Illinois recorded 17 assists compared to Brown's nine. The Illini have now totaled at least 15 assists in the last three games.

10. Senior Rayvonte Rice recorded his second double-double as an Illini with 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Rice's first double-double came at UNLV on Nov. 26 2013. He has now scored in double figures in 35 of his 39 games as an Illini.

11. Junior Aaron Cosby led the Illini with 18 points, good for his career high as an Illini. Cosby shot 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-6 from behind the arc. He has now scored in double-figures in three of his four games in the Orange and Blue.
