1. Illinois has scored 100-plus points twice in a six-day span, netting 114 points against Coppin State (11/16/14) and pouring in 107 points tonight. Over the past 13 seasons since 2001-02, the Illini eclipsed the 100-point mark just twice - 105-66 win vs. Georgia Tech (11/23/01) and 105-79 victory vs. Longwood (12/27/04).
2. The Orange and Blue scored more than 100 points in consecutive games for the first time since the 1993-94 season when they did so in three straight games from Dec. 10-18, 1993. After three games this season, the Illini are averaging 100.3 points per game, while holding opponents to 64.3 points per game.
3. Illinois has won by more than 40 points in consecutive games with a 58-point victory against Coppin State and a 41-point win tonight.
4. The Illini were on fire in the second half, shooting 24-of-32 (75 percent) from the field. For the game, Illinois was 40-of-67 (59.7 percent), including 14-of-25 (56 percent) on three-pointers.
5. Illinois equaled the most three-pointers made in back-to-back games in school history with 29, as UI drained double-digit threes (14) for the second straight game after tying the State Farm Center record with 15 three-pointers against Coppin State (11/16/14). The only other time it has been done was in 2004-05 with 14 vs. Northwestern (2/23/05) and 15 vs. Purdue (3/3/05). UI hit double-figure threes just twice during the entire 2013-14 season.
6. Illinois improved its current winning streak in month of November to 29 games, marking the longest active streak in the country in the opening month of the season. The Illini also are 18-0 in the month of November under head coach John Groce.
7. UI improved to 3-0 on the season with the 107-66 victory. It marks the 15th-straight season the Illini have started the season with at least three consecutive wins, a streak that began in 2000-01.
8. Illinois won its 32nd straight non-conference game at State Farm Center, and extended its home-court winning streak in regular-season non-conference games to 43 in a row.
9. The Illini forced 18 turnovers and capitalized with a double-digit advantage in points off turnovers (22-6) for the third consecutive game.
10. Senior Rayvonte Rice and sophomore Malcolm Hill each turned in a game-high 16 points and six rebounds. Rice hit all six of his field goals, including three three-pointers, while Hill was 6-of-7 from the field.
11. Sophomore Kendrick Nunn was 4-of-4 on three-pointers, one shy of his career high (5), and was third on the team with 14 points. He also equaled his career high with three steals.
12. Junior Mike LaTulip scored a career-high nine points in eight minutes. He has tallied 16 points in the past two games after totaling 30 points in his first 28 career games.
13. Senior Nnanna Egwu reached double figures for the first time this season with 13 points.
