1. Illinois scored its most points (114) and posted its largest margin of victory (58) since dropping 121 points in a school-record 69-point win over Chicago State on Dec. 18, 1993. Illinois' school record for most points in a game is 127 against LSU on Dec. 22, 1988.

2. UI broke the 100-point plateau for the first time since tallying 105 points against Longwood on Dec. 27, 2004.

3. The Illini drained 15 three-pointers to tie their State Farm Center record, which is one shy of the school record of 16 three-pointers against Arizona in the Elite Eight on March 26, 2005. It marks the third time the Illini have hit 15 three-pointers at State Farm Center, with the other two times both occurring in 2005: vs. Penn State (1/12/05) and vs. Purdue (3/3/05).

4. Illinois totaled 59 points in the first half, marking the most points scored in the opening half since UI posted 67 points against Georgia Tech on Nov. 23, 2001. It is the most points in any half since the Illini notched 59 points in the second half against Western Illinois on Nov. 23, 2001.

5. UI dished out 24 assists, marking the most dimes since registering 25 against Chicago State on Nov. 27, 2011.

6. After missing their first three shots of the game, the Illini drained 15 of their next 16 field goals to start the contest 15-of-19 (78.9 percent) from the field. That hot start included stretches of eight consecutive made field goals and seven straight made field goals.

7. Illinois was on fire in all phases of the game, shooting 41-of-74 (55.4 percent) from the field; 15-of-28 (53.6 percent) on three-pointers; and 17-of-19 (89.5 percent) from the free throw line.

8. Illinois improved to 2-0 on the season with tonight's win. It marks the 15th-straight season the Illini have started the season with at least two-straight wins. The last time they didn't was 1998-99 under head coach Lon Kruger.

9. UI is now 17-0 in November under head coach John Groce. Overall, the Illini have won their last 28 games in the month of November.

10. The Illini won their 31st straight non-conference game at State Farm Center and extended their home court winning streak in regular season non-conference games to 42 in a row.

11. The Illini forced 18 turnovers and capitalized with a double-digit advantage in points off turnovers (28-9) for the second straight game.

12. Six Illini entered double figures, marking the first time that has been done third-year head coach John Groce: senior Ahmad Starks (18), freshman Leron Black (18), junior Aaron Cosby (17), senior Rayvonte Rice (14) and sophomores Malcolm Hill (13) and Kendrick Nunn (13).

13. Cosby hit five three-pointers to equal his career high from Seton Hall, which he did on Feb. 10, 2103 at Notre Dame.

14. Hill grabbed a career-high nine boards to lead Illinois in rebounding for the second straight game to start the season, as the Illini finished with a 50-35 advantage on the glass.

15. Sophomore Jaylon Tate had a team-high seven assists, one shy of his career high (8).
