Columbus, Ohio -
Illinois pitchers allowed just 13 hits against Michigan while the Wolverines batted just .177 against Illini pitchers in three games this season. Molly Lawhead had a base hit to left field to lead off the third inning, but that was the only base runner for Illinois on the day.

The Illini defense committed three straight errors as Michigan (42-10) scored three runs on just one hit in the fifth inning to break the game open.
Illinois completes the regular season 30-25 and will wait for a possible bid to the NCAA Tournament when bids are announced Sunday.
