On the game:
Tonight's game featured two very good college football teams, possibly two of the best in the nation. We prepared well and we played our hearts out. When you do that you are going to win a lot of football games.

On Michigan moving the ball in the 4th:
They are a great team. They have a great offensive line, one of the best in the country, along with a great running back. They preformed well today. They are a powerful team and they showed it tonight.

On Drew Henson:
I had no idea as to how much he was going to play but I knew he was going to play. He showed tonight why he is one of the best quarterbacks in the country. He has experience and he showed it.

On Kurt Kittner:
Kurt played his heart out tonight. He showed tonight what he is made of after being hobbled up all week. The kid has a lot of heart and he proved himself tonight. He showed that he is a competitor.

"He was a big boost for them. We let him take over the game and he is an excellent player and made plays."

On making plays on defensive end
"After the first quarter the coaches made adjustments and we were able to stop them and make plays. Later we just couldn't make the plays and they did."

"Those calls go either way and you have got to take it when it happens."

"The crowd was definitely loud and it was exciting. With the crowd out there we realized we could go toe to toe with the best."

On getting prepared for next week
"We faced this and now we have to bounce back and come out stronger next week. We're kind of mad at ourselves because we did get that close but we have to move on.
