The Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics is partnering with the Illini Rebounders for 50/50 raffles at Fighting Illini football and men's basketball games. The raffle provides another level of fan experience at Illinois events, while also raising money for student-athlete support and programming.
COVID-19 UPDATE: All I FUND 50/50 Raffle sales for the 2020-2021 football and men's basketball season will take place online at Illini5050.com. Raffle sales will open every Monday at 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise specified. Winning ticket numbers will be drawn at the conclusion of each Illinois football game.
The winner will receive half of the jackpot total from each game's raffle sales, with proceeds supporting all University of Illinois student-athletes by providing resources for international trips, student-athlete development programs, and scholarships. Raffle winners have 30 days to claim the prize.

OFFICIAL RULES
OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in any Illini Rebounders 50/50 Raffle (each a "Raffle"), entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules (“Rules”) and by the decisions of Illini Rebounders, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to such Raffle. Each Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
SPONSOR: The sponsor of the Raffle is Illini Rebounders Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. The address at which Illini Rebounders may be contacted is: Illini Rebounders Club, PO BOX 196, Champaign, IL 61824-0196. The Raffle is being conducted pursuant to a raffle license issued to Illini Rebounders by either the City of Champaign or the City of Urbana, Champaign County, Illinois. This Raffle is conducted pursuant to Illinois law and is void outside of Illinois.
HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS: Raffle chances represented by tickets will be sold at various locations throughout either State Farm Center or Memorial Stadium (as the case may be) at each home game day, starting before the game begins and ending at a time to be determined solely by Illini Rebounders. Raffle tickets may be sold in packages, and there is no limit to the number of Raffle tickets an eligible individual may purchase. No discounts or complementary tickets will be given. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase in person by eligible persons (see “ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER” below). There is no minimum and no maximum number of tickets that must be sold.
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Only Illinois residents are eligible to play and win the online I FUND 50/50 raffle, except that the following individuals are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in any Raffle or to win any Prize: the Board of Directors and staff of the Illini Rebounders Club; Illini student athletes and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents and “step” relatives); employees, officers, directors, volunteers, agents and consultants of: 5050 Central, University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, Fighting Illini Sports Properties, Spectra Food Service & Hospitality and their immediate family members.
ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received/Tickets purchased.
PROCEEDS: Illini Rebounder will devote all Raffle net proceeds from ticket sales, after payment of the Prize and expenses (“Net Proceeds”) to the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics I Fund at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
PRIZES: There will be a maximum of one winning Raffle ticket selected during each Drawing (as hereinafter defined), and any Winner of each Drawing will, subject to the Rules, be awarded 50 percent of the Net Proceeds from that Raffle (“Prize”).
DRAWING: Each Winner of any Raffle will be selected at either Memorial Stadium or State Farm Center, as the case may be, by random drawing by computer approximately 15 minutes remaining in the game. One winner will be chosen out of the pool of purchased Tickets for that game during the Raffle drawing (each, a “Raffle Winner”). The entrant whose Ticket number is drawn at the Prize drawing will be deemed the potential Raffle Winner of the Prize for that particular drawing. The decisions of Illini Rebounders are final and binding on all matters relating to any Raffle. The exact Raffle period, announcement time, and location for the Raffle Ticket sales are subject to change by Illini Rebounders.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNER(S): The winning Ticket number will be posted at one of the 50/50 Raffle kiosks at the games and posted on the megatron/big screen during the last 10 minutes of each game. If the megatron/big screen are inoperable, check the Raffle kiosk(s) at the applicable game. Entrants must listen/watch for the winning numbers at the game, check the Raffle kiosk(s) posted numbers, or check for the winning numbers at Fightginillini.com. The winning Raffle Ticket number will be displayed on Fightingillini.com within three business days of the game date. Illini Rebounders will not personally notify each potential Raffle Winner. Each entrant is solely responsible for checking his/her Ticket number against the public notifications regarding the winning Ticket numbers.
HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE: Prize claims must be made within 30 Days following the date of the Raffle. Prize claims (i.e. presenting a winning Raffle ticket) may be made at the Raffle kiosk. The exact location of the Raffle kiosk(s) within the State Farm Center or Memorial Stadium is subject to change by Illini Rebounders without notice. Raffle Winners not present during the draw may contact the Illini Rebounders president by email safriedlein@gmail.com or by phone at 217-649-8390 for further instructions on how to claim the Prize. After receiving the instructions, the potential Raffle Winner can make their Prize claim as instructed by Illini Rebounders. The potential Raffle Winner must provide Illini Rebounders with all tax identification information required by federal, state or local law. If for any reason a potential Raffle Winner fails to satisfy the foregoing requirements, or if Illini Rebounders is unable for any reason to identify the holder of a winning Raffle Ticket, then the Prize shall be deemed forfeited. Prize money for Raffle Winners (whether present at the Game draw, or not) will be mailed to the Raffle Winner in the form of a check within 30 days following Illini Rebounders’ receipt of the necessary requirements. For security reasons, no cash payments will be made to Raffle Winners.
VALIDITY AND ELIGIBILITY OF RAFFLE TICKETS: Illini Rebounders shall be the sole judge of the validity and eligibility of all Raffle tickets and required documentation. Raffle tickets that have been or appear to have been tampered with are void. Raffle tickets presented by any purchaser who has violated these Official Rules in any manner are void. All Raffle ticket purchases are final, and Illini Rebounders will not issue any refunds or replacements.
TAXES: All federal, state and local income taxes are the sole responsibility of Raffle Winner. Any required tax withholding amounts with be withheld by Illini Rebounders from the total Prize amount.
RAFFLE TICKETS ARE NONDEDUCTIBLE: No portion of the Raffle ticket price may be deducted as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
TRANSFER OF RAFFLE ENTRIES: Persons who purchase Raffle tickets may opt to give away their tickets, but in doing so they give up any claim they might otherwise have to the Prize Purchasers of Raffle tickets may not resell their Raffle tickets to other parties and may not knowingly give such Raffle tickets away to others for the purpose of allowing those other parties to re-sell such Raffle tickets. All Raffle tickets that have been resold in violation of these Official Rules shall be void. All individuals who re-sell Raffle tickets in violation of these Official Rules shall be ineligible to participate in the Raffle or to win the Prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Released Parties (defined below under “RELEASE OF LIABILITY”) are not responsible for: (1) Raffle tickets that are stolen, lost, damaged, illegible, given away or no longer in the purchaser's possession, (2) Raffle tickets that have been or may have been tampered with in violation of these Official Rules; or (3) any other errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, that relate to or are connected with the Raffle (collectively, as described in clauses (1) through (3), “Errors”), including without limitation, Errors in Raffle-related materials or in the administration of the Raffle, such as Errors in processing purchases or identifying or announcing a winner. Anyone who tampers with or abuses any aspect of the Raffle, as determined in Illini Rebounders’ sole judgment, will be disqualified from participation in the Raffle and, if applicable, will be deemed to have forfeited all claims to any Prize.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Raffle, each participant agrees the Released Parties, as defined below, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be indemnified, released and held harmless by each participant against, any liability for injuries, losses, costs, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage or property loss, resulting from, whether in whole or in part or directly or indirectly, participation in this Raffle or the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Raffle ticket or Prize. "Released Parties" means Illini Rebounders Club, the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and their directors, members, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers.
PUBLICITY AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: Illini Rebounders will retain the entrant’s personal data for a reasonable period of time to enable it to send that entrant the Prize that they have won and to verify that these Official Rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. By participating, Raffle Winner grants Illini Rebounders and its designees exclusive permission to use their name, likeness, photograph(s), voice, city and state of residence, and Prize information in connection with the Raffle for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, and waives any claims to royalty, rights, compensation, authorization, remuneration or notification for such use, unless prohibited by law.
COPYRIGHT: All Raffle materials are copyrighted by Illini Rebounders and may not be copied, reproduced or used for any purpose without Illini Rebounders’ express prior written consent.
GOVERNING LAW; SEVERABILITY; WAIVER: The Raffle and the Rules shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that any provision of the Rules, or their application to a particular persons or circumstances, is invalid or unenforceable to any extent, then the remainder of the Rules, and the application of all of the Rules to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected by that determination, and shall remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Illini Rebounders to enforce at any time any provision of the Official Rules shall not be considered a waiver of such provision or any other provision and shall not deprive Illini Rebounders of the right thereafter to enforce such provision or any other provision.
